Julie and her husband Michael are blessed with three children and are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas. Julie founded Cross-Training, an after-school program ran through volunteers, at the Methodist Church to assist and tutor students from Fairfield schools. Julie has felt a calling in her heart to return education to its foundation in America where the Bible was the initial textbook. Julie and Mike are both strongly convicted to not only raise their children with a Christian education, but to also provide that foundation for children of the community preparing them to become Salt & Light of the world. Together with cofounder Ms. Henderson, the Stewards have devoted many hours to researching and developing the foundation of Faith Academy of Freestone.
Jessica moved back to Fairfield nine years ago with her two children. She has a Bachelor from UTA in Business Administration and holds a Texas teaching certificate. She currently is the Children's Ministry Coordinator for First Baptist Church Fairfield where she gladly serves.
Jane graduated from University of Texas in 1975 with a BBA in Accounting and is currently a retired CPA. She has worked in various controller positions, and also as a Senior Tax Manager from Ernst & Young. Jane is active in United Methodist Church of Fairfield, and is on the Church council, United Methodist Women’s and Missions committee. She also started a free tax service through AARP’s Tax Aide group and this is the 4th year that her team has provided free income tax returns to the community. Jane is married to Mark Phillips, retired Halliburton executive, and they have 3 grown boys, 3 wonderful daughter in laws, and 5 grandchildren.
Tony is husband and step-father of 3 incredible step children and blessed “Pop” to 4 amazing grandchildren. Current Treasurer serving on the board of Directors for Still Creek Christian School. Director of Risk Management, Agribusiness and Transportation for Rollo Insurance Group.
Leon is husband to Lisie and father to David and Jonathan. Leon has a Bachelor of Arts from QLD Conservatorium, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from University of QLD, a Masters of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Criswell College. He has worked as a registered classroom teacher and band instructor in Australia. Leon has been in pastoral ministry for 23 years and has served with churches in Australia, Brazil and USA.
